Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with 5+ years of professional experience to join our development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing high-quality Android applications.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin/Java, REST APIs, third-party API integrations, application architecture, performance optimization, and debugging.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications.
Develop new features and enhance existing mobile applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and troubleshoot integration issues.
Implement proper error handling, API response handling, and network failure handling.
Debug and resolve application crashes, performance issues, and production bugs.
Optimize application performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and network usage.
Implement push notifications and other mobile services.
Work with Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and CI/CD tools.
Perform code reviews and maintain development standards.
Write unit tests and participate in application testing and debugging.
Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.
Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
Analyze requirements and provide technical solutions and estimates.
Stay updated with the latest Android technologies and development best practices.
Required Skills:
5+ years of professional Android development experience
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
Strong knowledge of Android SDK
Experience with Android Studio
Good understanding of Android application architecture
Experience with MVVM / Clean Architecture
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and JSON
Experience with Retrofit / OkHttp
Experience with Jetpack components
Good knowledge of Room Database / SQLite
Experience with Firebase
Experience with FCM Push Notifications
Good understanding of Android lifecycle and background processing
Experience with Git / GitHub / GitLab
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with third-party SDK and API integrations
Understanding of application security and secure API communication
Experience in publishing and maintaining Android applications on Google Play Store
